The Huchen Cup is an event designed to bring anglers and nature enthusiasts from different countries together. The idea is to build an international network dedicated to protecting the huchen population and its habitat. In today’s highly technologized era, in which countless hydropower plants are planned across the Balkans, it is time to consistently set the course in the right direction. The Huchen Cup has meanwhile become an integral part of protecting our blue heart in the middle of Europe.

The fishing trips and excursions guided by us are based exclusively on the catch-and-release principle. In all regions where we fish, this is either mandatory or desired and, of course, legally permitted. The guides and partners within our network who work with us follow the same code of conduct. In cooperation with angling clubs, local and international media, and through our personal commitment, we have developed effective methods to ensure that these particularly protected fish species are safely and unharmed returned to their natural habitat.

We are confident and firmly believe that the catch-and-release philosophy is the best example of promoting sustainable tourism and protecting fish stocks.
